De-shedding is just as important as brushing and bathing.
Double-coated dogs have both a top-coat and an under-coat. The topcoat is usually made of tougher hairs and the undercoat is thick and soft. Double coated dogs need to be brushed on a regular basis. As the weather gets warmer, the undercoat sheds.
Clipping or shaving double coated dogs can cause harm to the dog and their skin. The top-coat helps to insulate the body and the undercoat to help keep warm during cold months. We advise against cutting or clipping the dog's coat.
Our furry friends are treated to a double shampoo in our luxurious hydrobath accompanied by a massage. We condition the coat and skin, deliver a stylish blow-wave and use our special tools to brush the coat and de-shed the under-coat.
